Hey there, Happy New Year – Shana Tova 5780
Today, Monday, September 30, 2019 is Tishri 1, 5780 the first day of the peh decade. Today, I woke up in a whole new place. I’m not where I was just a couple of days ago. Everything has shifted. As a result of the shift, the book I have been working on for weeks, about the 10 year season of peh, has to be completely reworked. God really interrupted everything. There is way too much to share in one blog post. I will be sharing things over the course of the coming months. That’s right, months, maybe over the next ten years. It quite literally could take ten years to unpack everything that God deposited in me over the past couple of days. 
My head is swimming already and it’s only the first day of the New Year.
Have you ever gone through a defining moment that absolutely changed the entire course of your life. I have, a couple of times. When my fiancé suddenly died in 2005, one week after we were officially engaged, my life suddenly and unexpectedly changed course. I was headed in a very particular direction and over the course of one weekend the wind shifted and I was headed in an entirely different direction. It took me a bit before I was steadied and could get my bearings again. That happened again this weekend. Fortunately nobody died. Well, nobody I know died. Thankfully, this didn’t involve devastating loss. But it did involve a major disruption to my life. And I have a feeling it has changed everything about going forward from here.
The Spirit Has Been Brooding
Something has been stirring. It’s like when a huge storm is headed this way and the pressure system ahead of it wreaks havoc with my sinuses. I can feel it in my face before the storm actually arrives. Well, all last week I was sensing something spiritual was brooding. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it but there was definitely something brewing. Then over this weekend everything hit. Something shifted. I can’t tell you how it happened. I just know that it did. My earthly circumstances haven’t changed but I’m telling you something is different.
Since Friday there has been a huge spiritual shift that changed the direction of the wind, the wind of the Spirit. It is like when Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz she gets inside the house and then the house lifts up and drops her in an entirely different scenario. That kind of event happened spiritual over this past weekend. At the present moment, I’m still peeking out the window trying to figure out what just happened. The wind was blowing people in one direction and suddenly the wind shifted and now they are going in an entirely different direction Than they thought even just a couple of days ago.
This wasn’t just because we have crossed into a new decade. There was something on this shift that had the breath of God on it. And this is just the beginning. This was powerful. This was altering. I see in the Spirit something coming. It is riding on this wind of change. I believe this shift has positioned certain people to go forward into something they didn’t expect to go forward into, at least not now. God is holding the cards close to his chest on this one. He isn’t revealing His play just yet. He’s got a card up His sleeve. And He’s getting ready to trump everything on the table! It’s still hidden from us, and the enemy, but in the flash of a moment that is all going to change. And oooooooohhhhhh baby, when it does. Hang on to your hat, we’re going for a ride.
God uses angels to accomplish His word.
Psalm 103:20 BSB – Bless the LORD, all His angels mighty in strength, who carry out His word, who hearken to the voice of His command.
I believe we are entering a season in which the realm of heaven will burst on the scene in unprecedented ways. There will be angelic sightings and visitations. People will be talking about angels and spiritual realm like it’s an everyday occurrence to encounter the angelic.
He makes His spirit angels, His ministers, flaming fire
Hebrews 1:7 NKJV – And of the angels He says: “Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire.”
I believe we are going to see the angels of the Lord bringing the wind and the fire of God. The wind will blow the fire across cities, states and regions as the angelic host is released in the earth in this season. This is a season when Lord will show Himself as Yehovah Tsabaoth, the Lord of hosts.
God’s people will be encountered by Sar Tsaba Yehovah – Captain of the host of the Lord
Joshua 5:13-14 NKJV – And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, “Are You for us or for our adversaries?”
So He said, “No, but as Commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.”
And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, “What does my Lord say to His servant?”
The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord cause His face upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and grant you peace. Numbers 6:24-26
