A Beyond the Dalet Podcast
In this podcast, I explore my journey from casual curiosity about the Hebraic year and the symbolic meaning of Hebrew letters to a deeper, more intimate relationship with God. I share my personal story of how studying the Hebrew alphabet began as a devotional tool to enhance my Bible study and eventually became a way to connect more closely with the Holy Spirit. It’s okay to start with curiosity.
Key points include:
- The Importance of Asking “Why”: Before diving into prophetic insights or symbolic interpretations, I encourage myself to ask why I am seeking this knowledge and what I hope to gain from it.
- Academic vs. Revelatory Insight: I find that academic tools can provide valuable information, but true spiritual growth comes from revelation through the Holy Spirit, not just data.
- Building a Foundation in the Word: We can develop a lifetime habit of studying scripture daily, which establishes the spiritual stability we need to withstand life’s storms.
- The Seven Layers of Why: By repeatedly asking ourselves “Why is this important to me?” we uncover our motivations and desires, giving us deeper understanding of ourselves.
- Practical Encouragement: Let’s seek insight from the Lord for ourselves first, and let community insights serve as confirmation rather than a substitute for personal revelation.
Let’s go beyond surface-level curiosity, to dig deeper into personal motives, and to cultivate a habit of personal intimacy with God as the foundation for any prophetic exploration.
