This morning during my devotional time with God I received this word for the bride of Christ. The prophetic word is addressed to Virginia. Virginia is a female name from the Latin word virgo, meaning “maiden” or “virgin.” Both the prophets Isaiah and Jeremiah referred to God’s people as a virgin. Virgin in the Hebrew is Bethulah, meaning virgin or maiden.
Isaiah 62:5 NASB For as a young man marries a virgin, So your sons will marry you; And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, So your God will rejoice over you.
Prophetic Word – The Virginia Reel
Virginia will be reeling when I get done with her. The Virgin Bride will shake and stagger before she will be standing firmly in what I have for her. Yes, Virginia, there is a God in heaven. Who’s afraid, Virginia? Have no fear. Those who are wolves in sheep’s clothing will lose their fleece. They will be exposed. I am the Great Shepherd of the sheep, says your God, and I am watching My flock. I have killed lion and bear and today I am hunting wolves. This will be a season of great shaking and many will be reeling from what they see happening around them. But My sheep know My voice. My kingdom is a kingdom which cannot be shaken. So shake and tremble, Virginia. And when the shaking is done, stand firm, stand firm in Me. I will establish My people, My virgin bride. I will bring her forth without spot or wrinkle. I’m only shaking off the dust.
