If Salvation is from the Jews do Christians need to convert to Judaism?

Never lose sight of how we come to Christ by faith. We walk by faith, we live by faith we grow by faith. We continue in faith. I can look at the Hebraic roots through the eyes of faith and gain much. But if I take on the letter of the law and lose sight of faith I have lost much.

A message from a father’s heart

A fantastic series on being made holy. I've been listening to Duane Sheriff for over twenty years and his message of righteousness by faith, the good news, has been consistent. He is an anointed teacher with a fatherly heart. He relays the message of what Christ has done for us and the holy fire of… Continue reading A message from a father’s heart

How Long is This Queue?

Waiting on God can sometimes be like standing at the intersection waiting for the light to change. There are times when you need that light to linger so you can catch your breath. Other times you feel like you've been sitting at that light for hours, days or in my case, years. No one wants… Continue reading How Long is This Queue?

An excerpt from: A prophetic look at the coming Hebrew decade

The way in which the Spirit will be moving in the (peh) season will not be the same as how we will experience the movement of the Spirit in the ayin decade.

Liminal- A Prophetic Word

Also posted on my Prophetic Words site Thru The Dalet There is a spiritual shift happening right now. We are in it. It is occurring over this weekend. Still Learning After All These Years

I remember my first day of kindergarten. I wanted to go to school when I was three years old. I'm sure that was because my older brother got to go and I didn't want to be left out. But I remember having an internal longing to learn. I wanted to know things. I didn't like… Continue reading Still Learning After All These Years

I have been working hard to complete the booklet containing the prophetic word I mentioned in A clarion call to fulfill your destiny in Christ. I am also working on another booklet on what to expect in the Hebraic decade 5780-5789. I will share links to these works in the near future. The first will be… Continue reading Upcoming

A clarion call to fulfill your destiny in Christ.

In order share what I received with as much clarity as possible it is necessary to write this word out in its entirety. Space and time demand that I resort to a book form rather than attempting to restrict this to a blog post. I am currently working on that writing. The book will be… Continue reading A clarion call to fulfill your destiny in Christ.

Prophetic Word for 5780

The ayin has been a dominant theme through the Hebrew decade 5770-5779. Like the operating system of a computer working in the background we are not always aware that it is running. There has been a specific work, like the specific application program, in which the Spirit of God has been working during this period… Continue reading Prophetic Word for 5780

When I first set up this blog I knew it would undergo shifts, changes and alterations along the way. Six months into blogging I am still getting used to simple things like categories and tags. Finding Grace and Love

Sometimes I’m the one in need of grace. But in the end I do know that God is love because I have experienced His love. I pray that you will experience His great love and amazing grace.

Not Just a Story

Everyone has something that sparks their interest, challenges their thinking, or at least engages their senses on some level. For me it’s the written word. I love books. I got my first audio book when I was about three years old. It was a Read and Hear Little Golden Book and Record. This was the… Continue reading Not Just a Story

Out of the Prophets and into Plato

A Hellenistic Influence Below is an excerpt from   They Never Told Me This in Church! Deuble, Greg. There was massive diversity within churches all over the Roman empire. It seems that today’s bewildering number of Christian churches and breakaways is but a pale reflection of the kaleidoscopic scene during the second and third centuries after… Continue reading Out of the Prophets and into Plato

The Great Set-Up

The Cost of Legalism I have been re-reading a book I came across in the 1990's; Breaking Free-Rescuing Families from the clutches of Legalism by David R. Miller. It was in the early 1990's that my home church, at the time, was suddenly taken over by an extreme legalist. The man had been chosen to fill… Continue reading The Great Set-Up

The tapes that play in our head need to be re-recorded with positive thoughts. This doesn't happen by osmosis. It happens through intentionality and living on purpose. It happens by speaking words of love and truth to ourselves even if at first we don't believe it.

Brené Brown on Netflix

Moving Beyond Shame A few years ago my brother's suggested I check out Ted Talk. Along with Simon Sinek he suggested I watch Brené Brown's 2010 and 2012 Ted Talks. What captured my attention concerning Brené Brown was that she called herself a shame researcher. Call me insane, but I am one of those whose response is "I… Continue reading Brené Brown on Netflix

The Tension of Unfolding

Tension   If you are like me when you hear the word tension your mind probably conjures up images of nervousness, unrest, strife and possibly underlying hostility. And you would be right.  Tension is defined as the force which stretches something. That's a pretty simple concept unless you are the thing being stretched. And I'm… Continue reading The Tension of Unfolding

First Fruits and Counting

I don't know if God is going to come with a major visitation on Pentecost or not. What I do know is that whether you call it Shavuot or Pentecost it is a day that is marked on God's calendar. It is one of the Feasts of the Lord. And the days between now and then are a time of counting and collecting the days until the number is fully reached.

God is there before we are

I love how the Lord guides us. He directs our steps even when we aren't aware that He is leading us. At the onset of the summer of 1981 I turned away from the Lord. Thankfully it didn't last long. It lasted long enough for me to alter my life in unchangeable ways. Shortly after… Continue reading God is there before we are
