Embrace Expansion And Build for What’s Coming

As we embark on a prophetic season of expansion, we are reminded of the divine challenge to enlarge our tents and strengthen our stakes, as reflected in Isaiah 54:2. This transformative journey calls us to step beyond our comfort zones and prepare for the abundant blessings that lie ahead. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we are invited to discern the unique times and seasons that God has ordained, each filled with purpose and potential. Embracing a mindset of expectation, gratitude, and openness to new opportunities will position us to receive all that God has in store, ensuring that we are faithful stewards of His provision as we navigate this exciting path of growth and connection.

Isaiah 54:2, says, “Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; do not hold back; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes”.

A Season of Expansion

In past seasons we may have been reluctant to take on more or be willing to open ourselves in certain ways. In this season we are being challenged by Holy Spirit to open up and get ready to take in more. It’s time to expand.

A prophetic season of expansion is characterized by divine guidance and revelation, that accompany situations that demand something more of us than previously. That means the days ahead will be times of taking in more. We are going to have to be ready for the increase. Expansion seasons challenge us to step out of our comfort zones and stretch beyond our current capacities. We meet this challenge by enlarging the place of our tents and securing our stakes.

Times and Seasons

From a biblical prophetic perspective, times and seasons are not just natural cycles but divinely appointed periods. During these specific times God’s plan and purposes unfold in a way that is unique to the particular season. Such as, the time of harvest requiring something very different from us than a season of planting or sowing. Each season requires spiritual discernment in order to align with what God is doing during that season.

Build the Storehouse

In this season it means we are going to need a new outlook, a storehouse mindset. I don’t mean a hording mindset. Being a storehouse means expanding and building for something that isn’t here yet. It means seeing into what is coming and preparing for the bumper crop ahead. We need wisdom like Joseph did when he interpreted Pharaoh’s dream. [read Gen. 41] Joseph didn’t just tell him what his dream meant. He was ready with the strategy for implementing a successful plan. Where do we think he got that from? The same God that gave Joseph the insight to interpret the dream is the same One who gave Joseph the strategy.

This means we are going to have to be a faithful steward who will take responsibility for what God is entrusting to us. This isn’t about building our own kingdom. It’s not about gathering wealth or riches for ourselves. It’s about being ready to receive the provision for accomplishing God’s purpose in the earth. It means being faithful to do things God’s way with whatever He puts in our hands, whether that be people, finances, properties or anything else. It means relinquishing our own agenda and our way of doing things for His purpose and His way.

I can’t say it enough. THIS IS NOT ABOUT HORDING FOR OURSELVES. The increase that is coming is about receiving the abundance of heaven to accomplish heaven’s agenda. That doesn’t mean there isn’t a blessing for us in the midst of it. The blessing is the stewardship. The blessing is partnering with God to fulfill His purpose and plan.

Different Than Before

We are going to have to build different in this season than we have in the past. We are going to have be increase minded. We are going to need storehouses for what is coming. Is God showing you an increase in family? Then expect God to increase your family. Start making room now. Is He declaring increase in income? Then get wisdom from Him as to where the increase is supposed to be used. Get His plan now. Get the instructions from Holy Spirit now. Be ready. It’s coming. By faith be ready. This is a time to know the mind of God so we will know what to do when the time comes.

More People, More, More

One thing God has been showing me is that He is bringing more people. Can I tell you I feel unprepared. I don’t know what to do with that statement. I need more insight. I need instructions. I need more information from God. What I don’t need is an attitude that says I’ll wing it. I don’t need my opinions to get in the way of divine instruction. I don’t need a business plan based on earthly carnal understanding, I need the mind of God. I need God’s counsel. I need to hear from heaven.

So, I have set my face toward the Lord. I am in a time of prayer and seeking Him for exactly what the plan is. How does He want me to be prepared? What can I do to align with the vision of increase? We cannot wait until the heavens open or we will be scrambing to keep up.

God has been saying, “When it happens it will happen quickly.” I have been praying into what that means for over twenty years. What I know is that the Spirit of God is hovering. He is brooding over us as He prepares us to receive the long awaited promise. God is going to connect us with His open heaven. He is going to fulfill the promises He has made. Before it’s here, let’s take the opportunity now to prepare for what is coming.

This Might Help

These are guidelines. These are not steps to become something, but practices for living from what has already been established through the completed work of Christ.

1. Maintain an Attitude of Expectation

Approach this season with a heart full of expectation. Recognize that God is poised to do something new and significant in your life. Cultivate an anticipatory spirit through prayer, reflecting on God’s promises and His goodness in your past. Believing in His ability to deliver can open the door to experiencing unprecedented blessings. Knock and keep on knocking. Ask and keep on asking. Don’t give up.

But me, I’m not giving up. I’m sticking around to see what God will do. I’m waiting for God to make things right. I’m counting on God to listen to me. – Micah 7:7 MSG

2. Practice Gratitude

Cultivate a habit of gratitude by acknowledging all that God has already accomplished in your life. Regularly reflecting on our blessings helps shift our focus from challenges to the abundance of God’s grace. Gratitude fuels hope and allows us to remain centered during the stretching that comes with expansion. Maintaining a lifestyle of gratitude opens our hearts to receive.

I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. Ps 9:1 NIV

3. Stay Open to New Opportunities

Be receptive to the possibilities that come your way. Expansion often requires stepping into new roles, responsibilities, or areas of service. Embrace these opportunities with a willing heart and an open mind, trusting that they align with God’s purpose for your life.

Look here, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we are going to a certain town and will stay there a year. We will do business there and make a profit.” How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone. What you ought to say is, “If the Lord wants us to, we will live and do this or that.” James 4:13-15 NLT

4. Invest in Relationships

Strengthen your relationships with those around you. Nurturing connections can provide you with vital support, encouragement, and accountability during this period of growth. Share your journey with others and be open to listen when others share their insights and experiences.

Let us be concerned for one another, to help one another to show love and to do good. Let us not give up the habit of meeting together, as some are doing. Instead, let us encourage one another all the more, since you see that the Day of the Lord is coming nearer. Hebrews 10:24-25 GNT

5. Commit to Prayer and Reflection

Maintain a consistent prayer life, seeking God’s guidance and wisdom. This is how we strengthen our tent pegs. Engage in reflection on God’s goodness. Journal your prayers and God’s response. Prayer provides a vital connection to God and serves as a reminder of His presence, enabling us to remain anchored and secured to Him.

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8 BSB

6. Embrace Flexibility and Adaptability

Expansion can lead to unexpected changes. You may be required to adjust your plans or reassess your priorities. Cultivating flexibility allows you to respond better to new directions and opportunities, trusting that God’s ways surpass your understanding. Sometimes our stubborn determination gets in the way of our shifting into what God has for us. Ask God to show you what you need to let go of and the grace to accept His outcome. This isn’t about bending to other people’s will. It’s about submitting our will to the Lord and being willing to accept the changes He wants to bring into our lives.

I appeal to you therefore, brothers,a by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:1-2 ESV

8. Write it Down

Keep track of what God is revealing. Ask God to give you the action steps you need to take. Ask for the grace to accomplish your part as well as trusting Him to accomplish His part. “God how should I show up for this?” “What would you have me to do?” When you have received the answer from God put that and only that into action. Don’t decide how you want things to go. Surrender the outcome to God. Align with His revealed. Submit to God. He will fulfill His plan. He will do His part. Ask Him the best way you can partner with Him in this season.

Writing things down clarifies the vision. It increases our commitment to it and helps with recall and focus. It filters out distractions and makes it easier to track the progression. I like to keep a journal just for tracking the specific season I’m in.

More on The Vov Season

This year is associated with the Hebrew letter vov. Vov is a connector. Driving our stakes in securely this year will keep us connected with how the Spirit is moving while we

Hebrew reads from right to left

A prophetic understanding of 5786

One aspect of the prophetic connection during the Hebrew year 5786 פו (which began at Rosh Hashanah September, 22, 2025) centers around the significance of its Hebrew letters and numbers. Key aspects emerging from these interpretations include divine connection, the power of spoken words, and a do it again that will lead to breakthrough.

The Hebrew year 5786 is represented by the letters (80 פ ) representing the mouth and (6 ו ) representing a tent peg. Together these point to a season of Holy Spirit empowered declaration securing divine connection. The Hebrew letter vov ו holds several meanings that define the 5786 פו season:

  • A hook or nail: A primary meaning of is to hook or connect things. Prophetically, this signifies a year for aligning and securing divine connections between heaven and earth. This will be accomplished through prayer, praise, worship and speaking out in alignment with what Holy Spirit is saying.
  • Connection: The vertical line of vov symbolizes a flow of divine energy, or abundance, from heaven to earth. It is seen as connecting the spiritual realm to the physical, allowing for the manifestation of God’s promises.
  • Humanity: As the sixth letter, vov ו is associated with the number six, the number of man. This points to a season where God desires us to partner with Him to accomplish extraordinary His will and purpose.
  • Conjunction “and”: Grammatically vov means “and,” indicating that a story or promise is not finished. It is the connector that joins the beginning and end of a divine narrative, securing the final victory.

Prophetic meaning of the letter Peh (80 פ) The 5780s decade is defined by the Hebrew letter (פ), which represents the mouth and spoken words. The combination of peh vov פו in 5786 emphasizes the power of spoken declarations to secure and establish God’s purposes on earth.

This year is a time when words spoken in faith and alignment with God’s will will be fastened and secured to bring the waited for manifestion. That means keep going. Doing stop. You may have been speaking that word of faith for the last thirty years. Do it again. The persistance will lead to breakthrough as heaven invades earth.

Season of revival and divine acceleration Many prophetic voices have been declaring that 5786 will be a year of worldwide revival, marked by unprecedented supernatural power and unstoppable momentum. where divine unveiling and acceleration will release what has been restrained. The increased connection between heaven and earth will lead to new revelations, open doors, and a greater manifestation of God’s presence.

Wholeness and Restoration

There is also a focus on wholeness. God is focusing on restoring the whole person—spirit, soul, and body. This will also be a time to of spiritual wholeness as we connect with and receive from God in ways we haven’t experienced in the past. God is expanding us to receive more of Him. More of Him means more healing, more peace, more joy, more comfort, more insight, more revelation. More, more, more.

For believers, the prophetic understanding of the 5786 season is a call to action and realignment:

  • Deconstruct and reconstruct: God is deconstructing our man-made systems within the church (Ekklesia) and restructuring it by His design.
  • Pray boldly: The season is an invitation to engage in powerful intercession and declare God’s promises with boldness, knowing that the words released will align with heaven’s decrees.
  • Embrace new things: As old cycles close, we are encouraged to step into new ways and embrace the gateways that God is opening for new divine opportunities.

In this prophetic season of expansion, we are called to deepen our relationship with God, embrace the transformative opportunities presented to us, and actively align our lives with His divine purpose. As we navigate through the complexities of this journey, let us remain steadfast in prayer, open to new possibilities, and filled with gratitude for the growth we experience.

A Final Thought

In this prophetic season of expansion, we are reminded of the transformative journey that lies ahead. As we heed the call to enlarge our tents and strengthen our stakes, let us embrace the opportunities for growth and connection that God is presenting. This is not merely a time of waiting; it is a season of active preparation and faithful stewardship, aligning ourselves with His divine purpose.

As we cultivate an attitude of expectation, practice gratitude, and remain open to new possibilities, we position ourselves to receive the abundance that heaven has in store for us. Let us commit to strengthening our relationships, immersing ourselves in prayer, and embracing the flexibility required to navigate the changes ahead.

May we be bold in our declarations and persistent in our faith, trusting that the words we speak will align with God’s will and pave the way for breakthroughs. As we step into the fullness of what He has for us in this year of 5786, let us do so with hearts wide open, ready to experience the wholeness and restoration that accompanies our journey of expansion.

Together, let us move forward, knowing that with God as our guide, the best is yet to come.
