Embracing 5785: Tunneling, Bridging, and Apostolic Birthing

5785 is going to be the gateway that provides the means to accomplish what we haven’t been able to successfully complete in the past.

A Word to the Ekklesia

In a recent podcast I shared about a current shift in the spiritual season. The door to the new season opened during Hebraic year 5784. We will be entering the year 5785 about one month from now. [Oct. 6, 2024] During this new season if it hasn’t already begun it will soon, some will find themselves in a tunnel season while others will be crossing over a bridge.

Let me state this upfront. No one who truly wants to go forward with God gets to avoid what I’m calling a tunnel season. It’s a Zechariah 4:7 season. There will be great grace to burrow through the mountain that has been prevented you from fulfilling and completing the call of God. Zechariah 4:7 is the theme song for the capstone generation, the End-times Ekklesia. In order for the Ekklesia of Christ to become the fully functioning Tabernacle of God in the earth we must not only face the mountain that stands before us, we must tunnel through. It’s something that has to be walked out. The tunnel designates a transitional time of transformation.

Zechariah 4:7

The good news for those entering the tunnel is that a bridge awaits them when they emerge.

Emerging from a Tunnel Season

Those coming out of their tunnel season will be stepping onto a bridge that will connect them with the fulfillment of their destiny. For this emerging company the tunneling season is behind them. They have successfully burrowed through. The hard work of the prior season has rewarded them with the hidden treasure extracted along the way. Going forward for them means taking a tremendous step of faith that will connect them with the vision of God for their lives. That step of faith will land them on the bridge.

5785 – A Gateway

5785 is a gateway year. It represents something you have to go through to get to another place. It can be a passage into or out of a place or state of being. One figurative use of gateway is the idea of a way of achieving something: Such as: hard work is the gateway to success. or physical exercise is a gateway to a healthier life.

Unlike a door which can be opened or closed, a gateway is simply the opening. It provides a means of access or entry. A gateway can also be like the device used in computing which creates a connection between two different networks.

As a means of access, a gateway gives us admission or permission.

St. Louis is considered the gateway to the West. “The Arch”—of St. Louis, Missouri, is the centerpiece of the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial, “Gateway to the West,. in 1803, its location provided the starting point for exploration of the nation’s newly acquired Louisiana Purchase. As a nation, we now had access to explore and inhabit land we didn’t have access to before. The Louisiana Purchase gave us permission to pursue westward expansion. Going through the tunnel will provide a similar kind of admission. We will be free to move forward in a way we hadn’t before now.

Jesus is our Gateway to the Father

The death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ provided us with access to our Heavenly Father.

And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. By his death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. – Hebrews 10:19-20 NLT

The Tabernacle Company

Because Jesus provided for us a new and living way to approach God, we have the opportunity to become the dwelling place of God in the earth. This moniker will define the emerging company as those empowered by the manifest presence of God. In this way, they will not only resemble the first century apostolic company, they will exceed it.

and then I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “See! The tabernacle of God is among men, and He will live among them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them [as their God], – Rev. 21:3 AMP

My Personal Experience

Getting fed up with the constant upheaval that came with living among an abusively dysfunctional family, was for me a gateway to a new way of life. Like curiosity being the gateway to learning. Being wearied beyond endurance, I was resolute to seek change. Just being sick and tired wasn’t enough. But getting to a breaking point became the catalyst I needed for that launched me on a quest for learning new coping and living skills.

My life had reached it’s snapping point. If I wanted to have a different life I had to be willing to do the work. I was willing to do whatever it took. That became for me a gateway for change. The road to recovery and healing leads in an entirely different direction than the one I had previously been on. That path eventually led me to a tunnel of my own.

An Opportunity

An opportunity gives us the potential to make further progress. In other words, it can be the means to take you somewhere you wouldn’t get to otherwise. This is the idea behind 5785 being a gateway year.

MORE ABOUT 5785

Transitioning to Deliver

The Hebrew letter hei is the fifth letter in the Hebrew alphabet and is associated with birthing. It is constructed by combining the letter dalet and an inverted yud.

A newly emerging apostolic company will be birthing throughout 5785. This isn’t limited to seeing new converts. Apostles don’t birth converts. They birth disciples. Apostles don’t limit the message to a gospel of salvation. They announce the establishment of the kingdom of God.

New revelation will release fresh understanding of what it means to equip for ministry. (Eph. 4:11) This new revelation will help to securely establish the body of Christ on a solid foundation. In order for the ekklesia to properly equip the influx of new disciples we will need to get up to speed on what that means. This is what all the shifting, changing and developing of new mindsets is about.

The Hebrew letter Hei

Letter hei represents the number 5

HEI S A DEFINITE ARTICLE. IT SPEAKS OF SOMETHING SPECIFIC

Hei takes “hand me a book.” and points to the specific: “hand me the book.”

A Specific Season in the midst of a Lifelong Journey

Being born from above launches us into the born from above life, the life of the Spirit. [John 3:3] The work of Holy Spirit in the life of the ekklesia is an internal work of transformation. This empowering process is a lifelong journey of transition leading us into progressively greater and greater transformation.

This means the very essence, the nature of our minds, our base instincts need to be changed and reestablished. The end result is to be entirely different than we were before we became born from above. It means our fundamental nature is to be transformed by the having our minds constantly renewed.

ROMANS 12:2

The Amplified Bible ~ And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].

The Message Bible ~ Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

Hebrew Letter Hei – 5

Every letter in the Hebrew Aleph-bet is infused with spiritual light and emits divine spiritual energy. To reduce the significance of this divine power to mere symbolism minimizes and diminishes the extraordinary revelatory insight to be gleaned.

The Hebrew aleph-bet is charged with the same kind of Holy Spirit energy released thru the spoken word of God. It is powerfully supernatural and creative. Additionally, each letter emanates powerful supernatural energy and deep spiritual truth. The letter hei emits revelation, through the breath of God. The spiritual dynamic discharged through the letter hei is revelation imparted by the breath of God.

Hei, the fifth letter in the Hebrew Aleph-bet also points to five levels of the human soul.

Breath upon Breath

Hei represents the breath of God and revelation.

peh hei

5785 is a year when God’s breath will intensify. The decade of the peh is associated with the mouth and the blowing of breath. Hei is specifically associated with the breath of God.

Peh Hei is where we will see things come to critical mass. Peh can represent breathing or blowing and it can also be an aperture or an entrance. An opening allows things to go in and go out.

During this current year, 5784 peh dalet, it has been a year of transitioning as the way increasingly opens. It’s as if the airways that have been constricted are progressively opening so that the full blast can blow in 5785. This means the way will be fully opened.

5785 is when the wind of the Spirit will be blowing things completely off the charts. Breath upon breath, revelation upon revelation. For those who have been running to God, they will advance with grace upon grace. For those who are still running away, you may feel the breath of God on the back of your neck.

Anticipating the spiritual shift will help position us to step into the grace being provided.

In the year 5785, a significant spiritual shift is anticipated. Both the tunnel season for some and the bridge for others are necessary for fulfilling our life’s destiny. As a gateway, 5785 will bring us into a new phase with intensified spiritual revelation and transformation. – Blessings
