The winds are shifting to a new direction. The winds of change are at our backs. Get ready for a new adventure to begin.

Recently I had an experience with the Lord in which I received new direction for going forward. In light of this new direction I find myself in need of new equipment. I’ve been able to get by with what I’ve been using, at least so far. However, this new direction will take me beyond my current equipment’s capability. I am reminded of a word I got from the Lord back in 2019 concerning the Peh decade.

Time for a new expedition

An expedition is an organized journey that is undertaken for a particular purpose. It is a sober undertaking. The particular expedition provides specific parameters, intended purpose and all the necessary means to accomplish the stated purpose. This includes the means of transport, and is accompanied by all the people and necessary equipment and supplies in order to accomplish the goal.

Recently, I posted a podcast, in which I share what I am experiencing in connection with this new expedition. For the past week now I have been in a stage of acquiring new equipment. My old equipment still works just fine for what I needed it do to over the past ten years. However, I’ve been pushing it to the limits and frankly it just can’t keep up.

The interesting thing is that in a recent encounter with the Lord I received a deposit of the Spirit that has come with some interesting side effects. Okay, maybe side effects isn’t exactly the right wording. Last week something happened that dynamically shifted my physical ability. I suppose you could say I got a bit of an upgrade. It wasn’t a result of something I did. It was totally supernatural. God did something. Mind you I don’t have the body or the capacity of a twenty year old but many of the physical limitations I’ve been struggling with have shifted off. My body, like my old Windows 7 laptop, couldn’t keep up. Not only did I receive a bit of an upgrade physically but financially as well.

My financial limits have been increased a bit to stretch just enough to get the supplies I need for the journey ahead. The upgrade God has extended will give me the ability to accomplish the task and reach the goal, fulfilling the purpose of this new expedition. I can’t wait to get started.

Having said all that…

The Lord has been speaking to me not only about more shifts to come but also a move. What does that means specifically? I don’t know. What I do know is that God said, “Get ready to shift.” I believe that we are going to be seeing a lot of shifting and changing for the remainder of 5781 (Rosh Hashanah 5782 is September 7, 2021)

This summer will be packed with purpose, and crammed with intentionality. In the Spirit I see a datebook with large chunks of time dedicated to whatever this purpose involves. The focus is intentional. Planning is essential and follow through will be key. Our schedule will not rule our lives but rather the purpose of the expedition will rule our schedule in this new assignment.

No, this is not just for me. The Lord is saying, “If you haven’t received your new directions have no fear, you will. Everything will be made clear in the days ahead.” I see new assignments and new spheres of influence and authority being given out. This might be allocated to your job but it won’t necessarily be limited to that. I see changes in nearly every sector of life.

The Lord showed me something at the onset of the Peh decade Hebraic year 5780 (beginning 9/30/19). The first two full years of the decade 5780-5782 were going to be a time of transition and movement to get readjusted and settled into a new place for going forward for the remainder of the decade. It would include realignment. That realignment would include people, places, things.

How do we prepare for something we aren’t sure about? Do what you feel led by Holy Spirit to do, even if it doesn’t seem to make sense or fit with your current situation. I’ll say that again. Do what YOU feel led to do. That also means don’t do what someone else thinks you should be doing if it goes against what Holy Spirit is speaking to your heart. If you aren’t sure ask God to show you. He will. Ask Him to give you direction, insight and understanding for going forward. If you ask He will answer. Ask for a word of counsel. Then act on the word of counsel He gives you. Sound simple? It is. God will give us direction. He knows how we are wired. He knows how to get through to us individually. Trust Him. After all He loves you and longs to give you the insight you need.

Get Ready, Get Set…Peh 80

The Biblical year 5780, which began September 30, 2019, will be a time for gearing up and continued tanking up for the journey ahead. Like packing for a trip, 5780 will be a time of accumulating the necessary elements and shifting focus. There is much that the decade will bring in the way of challenges and changes. It will be necessary to be properly equipped. This first year will bring the necessary retinue, conveyances and equipment for the mission ahead. It’s more than just a quick gas station stop off. This will be more like getting ready for a lengthy road trip. It’s a time to fuel up. Get a good meal in you and get all the supplies you will need for the excursion ahead. Time for a new assignment, a change in direction. This might include a new vocation, or undertaking of a new task. It could even be a completely new commission and change of business.

Retinue, Conveyances and Equipment

Retinue has to do with people. It’s our companions, household and associates. The particular retinue for the peh season will be made up of the new company of people to which we will be aligned and connected with for this new season. So look for plenty of shiftings in your connection with the people around you. Old connections will change as new relationships begin to bloom. Ask God for eyes to see the new alignments and connections. It might not look like we expect.

The new wine is found in the cluster.

This peh season will bring forth its own boutique vintage as the new wine forms in the newly developing cluster. It will have its own unique quality to it. The wine that comes forth during the peh season will not be like the old wine. Some will have to make major shifts with the people they are currently connected in order to hold the new wine. Companies and businesses might actually see huge shifts with their staff this year, both in quantity and quality. Friends, companions and associates are those with whom we are linked together. 5780 will be time of shifting and changing which will connect us differently than we were in the past.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles

Conveyances are the means of transportation. Look for a change in how you will be getting around. Yet, even as I say this I have to add that the concept of conveyance is also about what is conveyed by the Spirit as well. Conveyances transfer and dispatch. They transport, move, shift, transfer, bring, carry and deliver. For those who read my previous book on the decade of peh you might recall the word for 5780 that is connected with Amos 9:13-15 and Psalm 20. This year God will be dispatching supplies from the Sanctuary.

“Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” God’s Decree. “Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills.”

Amos 9:13-15 MSG

Spiritual things get conveyed by the Spirit. Angels carry and deliver revelation. They convey a message. They are dispatched to deliver something. There is going to be an increase in angelic activity this year as spiritual supplies begin to come in. There will also be a change on how we are conveyed throughout this year. In practical pragmatic terms that might just simple be a change of our earthly transportation.

Equipment

What is being conveyed? Equipment has to do the items necessary for a particular purpose. It is all the paraphernalia, tools, supplies, utensils, appliances and stuff needed to accomplish the job. Equipment furnishes the essential ingredients and components for carrying out a task. Equipping is the process of being fitted with those necessary items. 5780 is a time of getting equipped both physically and spiritually. This equipping comes with specific divine purpose and focus which God has ordained for each one individually, as well as, each individual corporate body. The equipment being provided will be particular to the that person’s or that assembly’s call and commission.
5780 will be a time to get ready and get set because the adventure is about to begin.

5781 The Wind is Blowing Peh aleph 81

5781 will bring the very breath of God as He blows us into the season ahead. It is the breath of 5781 that will carry us through the rest of the decade. This breath will be blowing away relationships which will hinder us from managing the new territory God is bringing us to. The breath of the Spirit will blow us in a new direction. It will blow us from one end of the region to another. It might even blow us to another region of the continent or even across the ocean. There will be a dislodging and relocating as a result of this breath. What wasn’t shifted in 5780 will shift in 5781. For those reluctant to make the shift in previous year will experience gale force winds that will move them as the breath of God blows them into a new place. The gentle breath will become a fierce wind by the end of the year. There is a divine agenda being implemented for removing and setting aside our current social involvement and religious commitments (even those we thought would continue in this season).

Those who refuse to make the changes are going to find life get harder. But those who embrace the change will realize quickly that God had this in mind all along. They will be saying, “I wish I had done this sooner.” These changes are what is going to breathe new life into the people of God. This breath is the Spirit of the Living God. This breath brings life. There is so much life in this breath that it literally will feel like a second wind. This is a time for the weary to be revived, for the dead to come to life and the empty to be filled. For those who have felt like they’ve been hanging on by a thread, life will come in the breath to revive them.

While bringing life, this breath is going to blow away mindsets that have held back the people of God. As the breath realigns and reestablishes the people of God (ekklesia) new life is going to come in. Old mindsets that have governed the church and held the people of God in check will begin to get blown away. Old ways are going to die. They will not be able to withstand the breath of God that will blow this year. Get ready for new paradigms to sweep the ekklesia off their feet and into a new move of the Spirit.

The Threshing Floor

This blowing is happening at the threshing floor. The wind of the Spirit will be blowing. How the word of God is perceived will be tossed in the air and the wind of the Spirit will blow away the chaff. By the end of this year many will say, “Everything I thought about the word of God has changed. Everything I believe about God has altered. I am not who I was a year ago.”
The threshing floor of 5781 will actually coincide with harvesting fruitful supplies that began in 5780. There were things which came to a fullness which have now been harvested. God is weeding out the weeds and threshing out the grain this year.

Jesus put before them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was asleep, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and slipped away. When the wheat sprouted and bore grain, then the weeds also appeared. The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’ ‘An enemy did this,’ he replied. So the servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’ ‘No,’ he said, ‘if you pull the weeds now, you might uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat into my barn.’”

5782 – Setting the House of the Lord in Order Peh bet 82

5782 will be a time of establish order in the house of the Lord. The breath of 5781 will bring new mindsets and paradigms and perceptions. The work of the Spirit until now has been to bring a fresh revelation to the ekklesia concerning the apostolic.

In 5782 the new apostolic order will be busy setting the house of the Lord in order. The mixture of the carnal indulgences and fleshly agendas brought in by prior generations and allowed to remain will begin to wane as apostolic authority sets the house of God in order. God will be separating the holy from the profane. There will be a coming out of agreement with the world system which has been operating within the church.

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God – 1 Peter 4:17a KJV
This word translated time, is the Greek word kairos. In Dutch Sheets’ book God’s Timing for Your Life, he describes kairos as the right time, the opportune time, appointed time or strategic time. It’s the now time. Chronos, another Greek word used in the New Testament, is the word that refers to the general process of time. Sheets explains that as the chronos of time unfolds it brings us to a kairos moment. It is when God intersects the general process of time with what He is doing NOW. It’s a juncture in time.

5782 will bring the church to a kairos juncture which will launch her into a time of God’s judgment and getting set in order. It will be similar to the parable of the weeds in Matthew 13.

Do righteousness and Judgment

I want to take a minute here to describe the kind of judgment I see coming. First of all the word translated as judgment in 1 Peter 4:17 is the Greek word krima. Krima carries the idea of a sentence being passed by a judge. Krima is used in the Septuagint for the Hebrew word mishpat, which is often translated as ordinance. Bear with me as I attempt to explain.

Ye shall therefore keep My statutes, and Mine ordinances [mishpat], which if a man do, he shall live by them: I am the LORD. –

“For I have chosen him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing righteousness and justice; in order that the Lord may bring upon Abraham what He has spoken about him.”

Then Moses came and recounted to the people all the words of the Lord and all the ordinances [mishpat] ; and all the people answered with one voice, and said, “All the words which the Lord has spoken we will do!”

We need to understand that the judgment (mishpat) which must begin in the house of the Lord is the doing of the ordinances (mishpat) of God. What are those ordinances? They are the mandates given by God. God’s ordinances are not determined by social conformities or intermingled with the worldly system. This is not about standing up to injustice in the world, or attempting to impose God’s ordinances on the world at large. This is about the individual examining their own life and coming into agreement within our own hearts and minds to walk with God according to God’s ways. This isn’t imposing of religious standards on the world around us. When we attempt to impose man made religious standards on others we audaciously presume to sit in God’s seat of authority. That is God’s job NOT MAN’S!

That said, God’s house is to be governed by God’s ordinances. God’s people are to live as God’s people. The biblical year 5782 will be a kairos time to set the house of the Lord for the people of God to do the judgments [mishpat] of God, by living according to God’s ordinances [mishpat].
Another way to put that would be that it is time for the church to come out of covenant with the god of this world, renounce the ties to the world system and begin to live according to the ways of God. This judgment will begin with words to the church much like those delivered through the apostle John to the seven churches in Asia Minor.

The word of the Lord is going to be corrective so that we, the ekklesia, will collectively walk in God’s ways. It will be reminiscent of the tribes of Israel coming out of Egypt and remaining at the foot of Sinai while they received apostolic instructions (as seen in Moses) gotten directly from God for constructing the house of the Lord and the mishpat (ordinances) required for living in proximity to God. This setting the house of the Lord in order will begin with the Spirit’s internal work in the hearts and lives of each Believer.

Prophets and the prophetic must come into proper order and alignment

The new apostles of this generation will be coming forth with a clear ‘choose this day whom you will serve’ message. The prophetic utterance will have to come under apostolic order and even Aaron and Miriam, prophets in their own right, were brought under correction and put in divine order by God (see Numbers 12).

And he said, “Hear my words: If there is a prophet among you, I the Lord make myself known to him in a vision; I speak with him in a dream. Not so with my servant Moses. He is faithful in all my house. With him I speak mouth to mouth, clearly, and not in riddles, and he beholds the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?”

Numbers 12:6-8 ESV

The prophets, even the prophetic movement, will have to concede to God ordained apostolic authority. Apostles receive from God somewhat differently than prophets do. True apostles will have the picture which brings direction and instruction for the purpose of governing the people with insight given by God. This is why God assigns the gift of apostle first in the church. (1 Cor 12:28)

The spirit of Balaam will be getting driven out of the church. The current use of divination and clairvoyance being allowed among the children of God, will diminish as God ordained apostles take their rightful place. They will function in a powerfully accurate gift of discernment.
Jezebels, Balaams, Balaks and Nicolaitans will be getting cut off and separated from God’s people. Stumbling blocks will be removed as the church comes out of allegiance with Satan and cuts its ties with the world system. The church will begin to realign and come into divine order and alignment with God. This realignment with God will open the gateway through which God’s power and anointing will descend upon the church.

These days will be like those during the time of Hezekiah when the rubbish was removed from the dwelling place of God. The internal work within the church will be like cleaning out the Temple of God. 5782 will be a kairos time for rebuilding the holy place of the Living God, the saints of the Lord. It will also be a time to become intentional and earnest in pursuit of the Lord’s presence through absolute obedience.
