The Lord is coming to His Threshing floor

The Lord is bringing His saints to the threshing floor. He is drawing us by His Spirit to ascend the hill of the Lord and meet Him at the threshing floor. In the coming Hebraic year 5781 the wind of the Spirit will be blowing on the threshing floor.

Excerpt from – Peh Decade Part 2

Last year I published a booklet on what Holy Spirit was revealing to me about the decade of Peh (5780’s). Holy Spirit said that 5781 would be a time when God will be blowing us in a new direction. The wind of the Spirit will be carrying away hindrances. It will be a time to receive a second wind, a time of reviving. That reviving will happen at the threshing floor.

We are currently in the Hebraic year 5780. Sundown on the 18th of this month we shift into 5781, the second year of the Peh decade. Below I have copied what the Lord gave me concerning the Hebraic year 5781, peh aleph. 5781 begins just four days before the seasons change and we enter Fall.

Excerpt – 5781 The Wind is Blowing:

5781 will bring the very breath of God as He blows us into the season ahead. It is the breath of 5781 that will carry us through the rest of the decade. This breath will be blowing away relationships which will hinder us from managing the new territory God is bringing us to. The breath of the Spirit will blow us in a new direction. It will blow us from one end of the region to another. It might even blow us to another region of the continent or even across the ocean. There will be a dislodging and relocating as a result of this breath. What wasn’t shifted in 5780 will shift in 5781. For those reluctant to make the shift in previous year will experience gale force winds that will move them as the breath of God blows them into a new place. The gentle breath will become a fierce wind by the end of the year. There is a divine agenda being implemented for removing and setting aside our current social involvement and religious commitments (even those we thought would continue in this season).

Those who refuse to make the changes are going to find life get harder. But those who embrace the change will realize quickly that God had this in mind all along. They will be saying, “I wish I had done this sooner.” These changes are what is going to breathe new life into the people of God. This breath is the Spirit of the Living God. This breath brings life. There is so much life in this breath that it literally will feel like a second wind. This is a time for the weary to be revived, for the dead to come to life and the empty to be filled. For those who have felt like they’ve been hanging on by a thread, life will come in the breath to revive them.

While bringing life, this breath is going to blow away mindsets that have held back the people of God. As the breath realigns and reestablishes the people of God (ekklesia) new life is going to come in. Old mindsets that have governed the church and held the people of God in check will begin to get blown away. Old ways are going to die. They will not be able to withstand the breath of God that will blow this year. Get ready for new paradigms to sweep the ekklesia off their feet and into a new move of the Spirit.

The Threshing Floor

This blowing is happening at the threshing floor. The wind of the Spirit will be blowing. How the word of God is perceived will be tossed in the air and the wind of the Spirit will blow away the chaff. By the end of this year many will say, “Everything I thought about the word of God has changed. Everything I believe about God has altered. I am not who I was a year ago.”

The threshing floor of 5781 comes after harvesting fruitful supplies in 5780. There were things which came to a fullness which have now been harvested. God is weeding out the weeds and threshing out the grain this year.

Jesus put before them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was asleep, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and slipped away. When the wheat sprouted and bore grain, then the weeds also appeared. The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’ ‘An enemy did this,’ he replied. So the servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’ ‘No,’ he said, ‘if you pull the weeds now, you might uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat into my barn.’”

Even Now, the Spirit is Calling – Come to the Threshing Floor

When I went to write this post I hadn’t any idea what I wrote last year. It wasn’t on my mind. However, it must have been on the Lord’s mind. He instructed me to copy the chapter from the book I wrote last year about 5781 and post it today. When I read the words “This blowing is happening at the threshing floor,” I was flabbergasted. Yeah, I know, I’m showing my age.

Yesterday I was a bit out of sorts. I desperately needed to encourage my spirit, my inner-man. I was just in a bit of a funk. Maybe it’s because it was a gloomy day and my head was congested. Maybe it’s because the Lord wanted me to be reminded of something. I don’t know, but whatever it was I found myself crying out to the Lord to bring me once again to the threshing floor.

I couldn’t even tell you what was going through my mind. Actually, nothing was going through my mind. But my spirit was crying out to God with earnest. My mind was a million miles away stuck in the doldrums of the mundane I suppose. But my spirit was yearning. It was calling out to God. I found myself pleading with great passion. I knew it had to be the Spirit calling me because all my mind wanted to do was veg out and stream movies all day. The Spirit began to blow and move me in an unexpected direction. He was calling me. He was calling me to the threshing floor. Actually, that’s what it means to come to the threshing floor. The threshing floor is typically on the top of a hill or at least an elevated place. That way the wind can blow unhindered and whisk away the feathery debris as the weighty grain, the nugget of food is tossed in the air.

Some of you might be asking what on earth that really means. The threshing floor is the place where the wind of the Spirit blows on our life as everything gets tossed up in the air. You have to know that if my mind was engaged yesterday I would not have purposely asked God to bring me to the threshing floor. I don’t know about you but my life has been tossed in the air enough for one year thank you very much. But the spirit wants what the Spirit wants. My spirit, the spirit of the righteous made perfect, the redeemed of the Lord, will thirst for wind of the Spirit of God. It wants the breath of God no matter what the cost. The spirit resident in the individual who truly has been born from above, will seek after the things of the Spirit. It’s why we can’t be satisfied with religious tradition void of the Spirit of God. Our spirit wants to soar in the heavens with our Creator. Our spirit man will never be satisfied with the things of this world.

The threshing floor is where wheat (symbolic of the righteous saint) is brought once it has been harvested. The chaff, the lifeless, tasteless husk that equates to the soul, the mind will and emotions, that covers the meaty grain gets blown away. This is where the grain (the inner man/the spirit) is broken free from the confinement of the hard shell. Applying this to our spirit-man it means its a time of having soulish hindrances removed.

The threshing floor is an elevated place. It’s a place in the Spirit. The soul doesn’t like it because it doesn’t get to dominate and get its way. Our mind, will and emotions take a back seat as our spirit is lifted higher as God breathes His Spirit on us. It’s a wonderful place. It’s a place where the Spirit blows like a fresh autumn wind. Oh, Lord come with your winnowing fan and breathe upon us.

The threshing floor is an amazing place. When my mind is engaged my thoughts can be a hindrance to the things of the Spirit. But the threshing floor removes all that. It blows away the earthly mindsets, the emotional chains that keep us bound to the things of this world. It’s at the threshing floor where our spirit is set free. There is so much more that I could write about the threshing floor experience. Better to experience the threshing floor of God than to think about it.

This coming year will be a time when God brings His beloved to the threshing floor. It’s altering. It’s transforming. It’s liberating. It’s the place our spirit is truly set free. Come let us go up to the mountain of the Lord. Let us ascend to the threshing floor of God and let the wind of the Spirit breathe new life upon us!

The Threshing Floor (Spanish – La trilla) is an oil sketch by Francisco Goya.

Matthew 3:4-12 John wore a garment of camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey. People went out to him from Jerusalem and all Judea and the whole region around the Jordan. Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River. But when John saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his place of baptism, he said to them, “You brood of vipers, who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? Produce fruit, then, in keeping with repentance. And do not presume to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. The axe lies ready at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. I baptize you with water for repentance, but after me will come One more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. His winnowing fork is in His hand to clear His threshing floor and to gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

Come Lord Jesus, Come to the threshing floor with Your winnowing fork. Come wind of the Spirit and blow! Come and breathe upon the Your people and baptize us anew. Come with Your Holy Spirit and fire!

Come Holy Spirit!
