I wish I could come up with a better word than transition. Transformation has been overused just as much. Restoration and destiny are equally worn out. Put them all together and you’ve got the most likely to be delete without reading email in history.
I don’t know about you but I’m tired of hearing about transition. I’ve got motion sickness from all the crossing over. I’ve crossed over so many times I don’t know what side I’m on anymore. I’m not sure if I’m supposed to move into, cross over, contend, decree or simply trust God concerning my destiny. I’ve been told so many times what someone else thinks my destiny is supposed to be that if I have to hear another message on it I’ll scream. I mean no disrespect.
Please don’t take offense. I’m all for transition, restoration and destiny. It’s just that I’m tired of hearing about it. I’d like to see it happen already. As much as I loathe the term transition, I think what I have to share might help put the the subject to rest. Let’s hope so for all our sakes. All I know is, once I grasped what I believe the Spirit of the Lord was revealing to me, my mind stopped spinning over the thought of transition.
So, yeah, I’m pretty fed up with the subject. Why mention it at all? Because, like it or not the Ekklesia of Christ is in transition. I believe we will be for quite some time. Some transitions are quick. I like those. I think we all would prefer to have the power inherent in Dorothy’s red shoes. Click your heels a few times and voilà, you’re there. I am not fond of slow roll outs. I say, let’s get this over with already. However, just as Moses was commissioned to bring the whole house of Israel out of Egypt, God desires for His entire family to make the move. That means making allowances for old folks and children. Moving millions of people from point A to point B is no small feat. It will take decades to shift the household of God from our current state of being. If we are to fulfill our destiny in Christ, the Ekklesia must shift. I think the shifting will be a slow rollout over time with a few quick shifts here and there.
Like it or not Ekklesia is family, the household of God. The Ekklesia of Christ is in transition. Family means nobody gets left behind. In order for the entire Ekklesia to be where Christ intended, we will have to shift from where we are to where we need to be. That is going to take time, lots and lots of time. That is going to take change, lots and lots of change. That is going to take patience, lots and lots of patience. It is going to take the power of Spirit of God as seen in the dalet to keep the transition going. Where am I going with this?
Simply put, the entire body of Christ is in transition and will be for the foreseeable future. In order for the Ekklesia to become the empowered Bride of Christ, who has made herself ready, there are going to have to be massive changes. The End Times Ekklesia is nowhere near where it needs to be. The Ekklesia is going to need to transition, be restored and transformed in order to enter into the destiny for which she is called. A remnant has only just begun to make the necessary changes. Restoration has been going on since the time of Martin Luther. More restoration will be necessary as we transition and are transformed by the Spirit to fulfill our destiny as Christ’s Ekklesia.
The Spirit of the Lord often speaks to me through the Scriptures. I like to look at the scriptures in the original Hebrew. Not only is the language expressive in a way which is often lost in translation the letters themselves reveal mysteries. I like to do word studies. It was during a recent word study of dalet when the Spirit highlighted something to me. The spiritual energy contained in the dalet shed light on the subject of transition. Dalet is all about transition. It’s the letter which signifies transition. All of a sudden I had one of those aha moments. The light went on. Hidden in plain sight dalet explained the current state of the body of Christ. In a word: TRANSITION.
The fact that dalet indicates some kind of transition I realized this was why the prophets and seers are speaking so much of doors and transition. The ekklesia of Christ is moving from where we are currently to an entirely different state of being. Many in the body of Christ are, for a lack of a better term, earth bound. As a whole are so earthly minded we are no heavenly good, so to speak. We are more connected with the earthly church domain than God’s divine eternal kingdom. We fulfill church ministry rather than the call of God upon our lives. We function in our earthly skill rather than our spiritual gifts. I am speaking as a whole. Fortunately there are some who have stepped away from what we know as church and are embracing becoming the ekklesia of Christ.
What does this have to do with the Hebrew letter dalet? Dalet sums up transition, and the Ekklesia is in transition. I’ll explain what I mean.
Mystery Dalet
A door and so much more. Dalet contains dynamic power of the Spirit of God. The power resident in dalet transfers, transports, and transitions God’s creation. By shifting, moving, changing and otherwise conveying God’s creation the force of dalet transitions from one state of being to another. Like the apostle John on the isle of Patmos, saw a door standing open in heaven. He saw a dalet in the Spirit. Upon seeing the dalet he was transported and transitioned from his earthly state of being to a spiritual one. He was literally transported in the Spirit from the earthly domain to the eternal kingdom of God. He transitioned from one state of being to another.
Some background on dalet
The fourth letter of the Hebrew aleph-beit [dalet] when spelled out is word Hebrew word for door. In John 10 Jesus said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.” When I see a dalet I think of Jesus. Access to God is through Christ, the door.
John 10:7-10 So Jesus said to them again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”
Hebrews 10:19-22 NLT And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. By his death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water
Hebrew letters are not merely symbols which represent sound. They are containers of spiritual energy and revelation. Unlike our English alphabet they are far more than static visual tools. Hebrew letters are energized with life. Resident with each character is the breath of God, the same Spirit vibrancy which empowered Christ. [The living Word of God, which became flesh and dwelt among us. John 1:14]
Each letter of the Aleph-beit, like the flame of fire emanating from the menorah reveals spiritual light. The letters emit spiritual insight and revelation. Each letter reveals specific aspects and characteristics of the Spirit of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ). The dalet points to Messiah Jesus as the means through which we access God and His kingdom, like John’s heavenly door.
Access and Ekklesia
Ignoring denominational docrine and expanding our understanding of what Jesus said He was going to build, the Spirit is speaking of Ekklesia and expanding our understanding around the world. The Ekklesia is certainly not where we were just a few years ago. The body of Christ is in the midst of great change. Many are answering the clarion call to become what Jesus intended His Ekklesia to be. At the same time, we are not all fully developed and empowered as the Ekklesia of Christ. The sound of the Ekklesia arising is resounding throughout the body of Christ.
The Ekklesia of Christ is being restored back to what Christ intended so that we all can fulfill our destiny. The Ekklesia is being called out of an ineffective corporate earthly system most of us recognize as church. We are transitioning and will continue to transition unil we all obtain what Christ envisioned.
“I also tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my assembly, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.” Matthew 16:18
I see dalet as the means through which the End Times Ekklesia/Assembly is going to move from the state in which it is currently, to empowered Army Christ intended. The destiny of Ekklesia is to be a fully functioning spiritually empowered council of the Living God accessing the eternal kingdom of God and releasing God’s plan in the earth. Our mandate as the Ekklesia is to access heaven through Christ and release what was received there into the earth.
Ekklesia/Assembly
Ekklesia is the Greek word used in the NT for assembly. The Hebrew word Adah (assembly) is used in the OT. Looking at the rich symbolism and energy resident in the Hebrew letters for the word adah, translated as assembly, we can gain amazing insight.
Spelled Ayin, Dalet, Hei.
The letter ayin is connected with spiritual sight/insight. Ayin, the Hebrew word for eye. Ayin is not only about what we see and how we see. Ayin (the eyes of the Lord) is represented in the Spirit by the menorah and is a heavenly symbol used to convey the revelatory word of the Lord. (See Zech 4)
Dalet is a portal (door) connecting heaven and earth. Dalet, as mentioned above, points to transition and movement.
Hei expresses revelation and the breath of God. This is the Spirit (ruach) of the Most High. As Jesus said to Nicodemus, you must be born of the water and the Spirit to enter the kingdom of God (John 3) The Spirit moves like the wind. The letter Hei represents the power of God as seen in His Spirit.
The Hebrew letters which make up the word adah, we get: an assembly (adah) capable of seeing by the Spirit, accessing the realm of heaven to receive revelation gained by the breath of God. Doesn’t that sound something like what Jesus said to Peter when He spoke of building His Ekklesia/Assembly?
Matthew 16:13-19 WEB Now when Jesus came into the parts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?” They said, “Some say John the Baptizer, some, Elijah, and others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. I also tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my assembly, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it. I will give to you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven; and whatever you release on earth will have been released in heaven.”
Upon the those who receive revelation from the Father in heaven, Christ would build His assembly, His ekklesia/adah. The keys of the kingdom are given to those who possess the revelation of the kingdom directly from the Father. The assembly (ekklesia/adah) of Christ has been functioning in the shadows for centuries. I believe it is time for the Christ’s ekklesia to step into, passing through and beyond the dalet.
We are going to collectively keep transitioning, tranforming so that we move from where we are to where we need to be by the Spirit of the Living Go. This is our destiny.
Ephesians 4:11-13 TPT And he has appointed some with grace to be apostles, and some with grace to be prophets, and some with grace to be evangelists, and some with grace to be pastors, and some with grace to be teachers. And their calling is to nurture and prepare all the holy believers to do their own works of ministry, and as they do this they will enlarge and build up the body of Christ. These grace ministries will function until we all attain oneness in the faith, until we all experience the fullness of what it means to know the Son of God, and finally we become one perfect man with the full dimensions of spiritual maturity and fully developed in the abundance of Christ.
In the midst of all this transition it’s important to know that we are fulfilling our destiny. The Ekklesia is being restored to what Christ intended. We are being transformed from the ineffective church to the empowered Ekklesia of Christ accessing heaven and releasing revelation in the earth. I know none of us wants to hear any more about transition but maybe it helps to know that all this talk about transition really is about what God is doing among His people. It has purpose. It’s not just a buzz word. It’s not just something someone came up with. It may not be what we thought it was going to be. I do believe we are going to see continuous transition, restoration and transformation UNTIL we all come to the place God has ordained all along.
Phil. 1:6 being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
