Amos 3:7 Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.
There is a new generation of apostles, prophets, pastors, evangelists and teachers, graced with a fresh mandate from the throne of God, to restore the foundation of Jesus Christ, to the church (ekklesia) of God. In his book, I see a New Apostolic Generation, Jeremiah Johnson shares insights on this currently forming five fold wineskin.
The Sovereign Lord has been revealing the identity and mandate on this amazing company of newly empowered individuals, to the prophets. I believe we are shifting from prophetically declaring IT’S COMING, to apostolically declaring, IT IS HERE!
It is imperative that if we want to move into the next great awakening we need to embrace what God is doing in this hour to prepare His body. Jeremiah’s book is a great introduction to the work the Holy Spirit is doing in this hour in the church.

A prophetic declaration and apostolic announcement concerning Christ’s work in the church in our day, Jeremiah Johnson’s book, I see a New Apostolic Generation,is a vital message to this current generation of body of Christ. Once I opened the pages I couldn’t put it down. With a prophetic mandate and apostolic calling Jeremiah shares the insights and destiny of the new apostolic generation.
Jeremiah’s book, I see a New Apostolic Generation, based on a number of revelatory experiences, is a timely message to the body of Christ. This message in this book is a must read for the church. There is a remnant, in the body of Christ, that has already been embracing the shift God is doing within the church. Those insisting on holding onto old paradigms and self promoting agendas will miss the coming move of the Spirit. This shift is already happening. Jeremiah’s church, Heart of the Father Ministry, has made the shift from a one man, pastorally governed institition to the plurality of five fold ministry. He writes:
One-man ministries are going to crumble all over the earth because they cannot contain the new wine God is pouring out. As eldership teams govern local churches together, the five-fold ministry will begin to function like never before. Rather than receiving from only one man every week, the saints of God will become apostolic, prophetic, evangelistic, pastoral, and a teaching people as they receive from all five ministries in their midst. “Only then can the body of Christ begin to attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.” (Eph 4:13) – quote from Chapter 7
Quoted from Chapter 1, the Lord spoke to Jeremiah saying:
“Jeremiah, the current wineskin of church leadership in the earth cannot contain the new wine that I am about to pour out in My church. You must tell church leadership to let My people go. They must not accept the worship of the people any longer. I am about to shake the very foundation of the Church. In the years to come, you will see a new apostolic generation rise who will build according to the pattern that I have set forth in Scripture….”
Chapter 4 – “The new apostolic generation will be fathered and mothered by leaders who desire to walk among them, not talk down to them.”…”My heart aches and groans for so many church leaders (especially those in their 50’s and 60’s) that are set on continuing to do a model of church that has become obsolete. It worked back in the day, but those days are over.”
Jeremiah Johnson planted and is the apostolic overseer of Heart of the Father Ministry, a multi campus church in Lakeland and Winter Haven, FL. He also travels extensively throughout the USA and world, as a gifted teacher and prophetic voice, at churches and conferences. Jeremiah carries a specific mandate to bring holiness and consecration back into the church and see true revival break out. In 2010, Jeremiah planted Heart of the Father Ministry in Lakeland, FL and currently serves on the Eldership Team full time. In 2018, Jeremiah began Maranatha School of Ministry.
